  1. Spooky Sugar Cookies:

    • Ingredients:
      • 3 cups all-purpose flour
      • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
      • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
      • 1 large egg
      • 1 tsp vanilla extract
      • 1/2 tsp baking powder
      • 1/2 tsp salt
      • Assorted Halloween cookie cutters
      • Colored icing and sprinkles for decoration
    • Instructions:
      1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
      2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
      3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
      4. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until fully incorporated.
      5. Roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thickness on a floured surface.

      • 1/2 cup butter, softened
      • 1 cup canned pumpkin
      • 1 large egg
      • 1 tsp vanilla extract
    • Instructions:
      1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
      2. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.
      3. Beat sugar and butter in large mixer bowl until well blended.
      4. Beat in pumpkin, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
      5. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
      6. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto prepared baking sheets.
      7. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until edges are firm.
      8. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
  3. Chocolate Bat Bites:

    • Ingredients:
      • 1 package chocolate sandwich cookies
      • 1 8oz package cream cheese, softened
      • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
      • Edible candy eyes
    • Instructions:
      1. Crush the chocolate sandwich cookies in a food processor until finely ground.
      2. Mix in the cream cheese until a dough forms.
      3. Roll the mixture into small bite-sized balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
      4. Freeze for about 30 minutes.
      5. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
      6. Dip the frozen balls into the melted chocolate, then return to the baking sheet.
      7. While the chocolate is still wet, add two edible candy eyes to each ball.
      8. Refrigerate until the chocolate is set.
